Coalville Rotary Club’s Help to Provide Books to Children in Kenyan Schools

When a Coalville Rotarian asked if we had any old books that were suitable for children that we would like to donate to a good cause, we were happy to become involved. After several months collecting them and then arranging their shipment we were delighted to receive photos and a report of their arrival at Mwiruti Primary.

Thank you my friends who have joined me in the book collection for Mwiruti Primary School library – age range 6 to 16 years. Thank you so much!!! It was a day well spent at Mwiruti Primary. We handed the books and Pens to the school which was Received by the Head teacher Mrs Ngolo, The Chair Mr Onesmus Githinji, Pupils n their teachers. I thank God and all those who came for ur support including Joyce Gituro. Be blessed. This school still needs ur Support. We pledged to give the top Boy n Girl each 10k. Courtesy of Joyce and I. This Pupils will Travel to Nai to visit Radio Citizen n TV stations on 2/3/2018 for exposure. This tour will be fully sponsored by Joyce Gituro. To those who can support this school, they lack water- a very necessary commodity n we thought of mobilising funds to dig a borehole. If there’s a way u can support plz let me know. I sincerely thank Esther Nduta for mobilizing this books all the way from UK. Whoever went to this school plz let’s give back by drilling the bore hole.
