2018 Donations

One of the main focal points of the Coalville Rotary Club is the raising of money from which we make donations to what we deems worthy causes. One major fund raising activity is the various Santa collections, either outside local shop locations or around a number of estates in the Coalville area. Again we were delighted with the amount raised during the recent collections. We had earlier identified a number of local worthy causes that we would like to make a donation to. These worthy causes were invited along to a recent Coalville Rotary Club meeting at the Hermitage Park Hotel to receive cheques from us. Representative from Tilson House receiving their cheque from our president with their nominee Annie Culf. The money was planned to take the residents of the house on a river boat cruise.

 

 

Representative from Forest Way School receiving their cheque from our president along with the nominees Roger McDermott and David Knight. The moneys received helps fund the Kids Out day where the kids from Forest Way School get taken out to Drayton Manor Park.
